MARIO
Mario is the Founder and CEO of Potager Farm. As the son of a professional beekeeper and botanist, who lost 80% of his bees because of pesticides applied/used in his area, Mario pledged early on to support environmental sustainability in food production and the conservation of natural resources. He has worked in different environmental NGOs and holds a background in biology and hydrology.
ANDONIS
Andonis is Head of Facility and Expansion at Potager Farm. He is passionate about a future that puts nature and ecosystems first. A former farmers son and self-taught engineer from South Africa, he has worked as a site supervisor installing water lines for the 2010 world cup, relief engineer on super yachts and as maintenance specialist in a vertical farming company. Jack of all trades Andonis is as comfortable with a spanner as with a spatula!
CAREEN
Careen is Potager Farm’s Marketing & Communications Manager. After completing her degree in International Business, she moved to Berlin in 2020 to pursue a Master's in International & Development Economics. Throughout her studies, she worked for different companies in the retail and consumer goods sector. Being a nature lover, she is passionate about sustainability and preservation of nature. Careen has already lived in Canada, the UK, France, and Spain.
